Major PlayStation Plus News

If you subscribe to PlayStation Plus this week has been filled with news.  First, news broke last week that Sony may be getting a voting system to PlayStation Plus.  In the past five years PlayStation Plus has gone through many changes, however, this may be the biggest.  Soon PlayStation will allow you to choose between select titles, then the title with the most votes will automatically be placed into the that months free game for PlayStation Plus.  If you vote on a game that doesn’t make the top spot there is no reason to worry, the runner up games will be offered at a discount with the winner.  There is no word on the first batch of games to vote on, although, I wouldn’t be surprised if we found out at Gamescom 2015.  Nevertheless, the news didn’t stop there.  This week Sony announced that a free gift will be sent to the emails of gamers that have subscribed to PlayStation Plus since it was introduced five years ago.  There is no knowledge on what the gift may be or when the emails will be sent out.  This week is a great week to be part of PlayStation Plus. Furthermore, just incase you missed them, here are the free games for August 2015:

Some games are cross-buy*

  • Stealth 2: A Game of Clones (PSVita, PS4)*
  • God of War: Ascension

  • LARA CROFT Tomb Raider: The Temple of Osiris
