NHL 17 Cover Athlete Revealed

With the ending of yet another Stanley Cup, so ends another year of the National Hockey League.   And with that comes the announcement of the NHL 17 Cover Athlete.  Like all great games, the choice came down to two players:  Vladimir Tarasenko from the St. Louis Blues and Joe Pavelski from the San Jose Sharks.  And after six million votes, Vladimir Tarasenko has been offically named the cover athlete for EA’s prized hockey game.

If you cannot wait until the launch of NHL 17, EA has announced there will be a beta in July displaying some of the game modes.

From EA Sports:

The beta will feature three modes: Online Versus, EA SPORTS Hockey League, and Hockey Ultimate Team™; as well as access to the Creation Zone. Beta registration is open starting now until July 7 at 11:59pm PDT, and the beta is scheduled to begin on July 28 at 12:00pm PDT and end on August 4 at 11:59pm PDT. Fans can register now for a chance to play NHL 17 first by visiting www.easports.com/nhl/beta.
