Apple Event Recap – iPhone 7 And Apple Watch Series 2

Today, Apple officially unveiled the latest iteration of the iPhone and Apple Watch to the public.  iPhone 7 will be available for preorder this coming Friday and will begin to ship next week.  Here’s everything you need to know about the new smartphone from Apple in our Apple Event Recap:

  • iPhone 7 will start at $649
  • The phone will come in three sizes – 32 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB
  • The iPhone 7 Plus will start at $769 also available in the three sizes listed above
  • A new color available – Jet Black will only be available in 128 GB and 256 GB
  • Redesigned home button using taptic engine
  • A10 fusion core processor using a 4 core CPU
  • Water & dust resistant
  • 12 MP cameras quad-led true tone flash
  • Optical image stabilization
  • Lighting EarPods along with 3.5mm adapter
  • Repositioned antennas
  • Dual Stereo speakers
  • Colors available include Jet Black, Black, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold

Apple also introduced AirPods which offer a 5 hour battery life and include a charging case.  The wireless device uses Apple’s W1 chip to connect to your device quickly, and easily.  The AirPods connect seamlessly right out of the box and the charging case provides more than 24 hours of battery life.  Peep the video below for a detailed overview of the new Apple AirPods.

Apple also formally introduced the latest iteration of the Apple Watch sleekly named: Apple Watch Series 2.  Here’s everything you need to know about the new Apple Watch Series 2 from Apple in our Apple Event Recap:

  • Apple Watch Series 2 contains a built-in GPS
  • Heart Rate Sensor
  • Water Resistant up to 50 meters
  • Comprehensive Workout App
  • Advanced Activity Tracker including Activity rings, coaching, activity sharing, and personal achievements
  • Powerful health tools like the heart rate sensor, and the breathe application

Apple also partnered with Nike introducing the Apple Watch Nike+.  This watch is made especially for runners who want to track and start their runs quickly and also include exclusive Nike watch faces.
