Earlier Nintendo Japan published file sizes for some of the downloadable games for the Nintendo Switch. If you felt that 32 GB was going to be enough for internal memory, you are sorely mistaken.
It was revealed earlier this year that Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will take up over 13 GB of storage space, which is close to half of the total storage for the system. Today they revealed that Dragon Quest Heroes 1 & 2 is going to take up the entire 32GB of storage space. Take into account that we learned that the Operating system will take 6.1 GB thanks to some stolen consoles, and you are UNABLE to play a launch game without first buying a very large Micro SD card.
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: 7 GB
- Snipperclips: Cut It Out, Together: 1.6 GB
- Disgaea: 5: 5.92 GB
- Puyo Puyo Tetris: 1.09 GB
- I Am Setsuna: 1.4 GB
- Nobunaga’s Ambition: 5 GB
So if you thought that you had trouble keeping hard drive space on your Xbox One and PlayStation 4, just wait until you get your hands on the Nintendo Switch. However it is important to note, that the Switch will not require mandatory downloads for physical games, so you will only have to juggle digital, and your game save data.
