Guardians of the Galaxy Telltale Games Trailer Revealed

The Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Telltale Games trailer is finally here! When the announcement first came through that the masterful storytelling style of a Telltale game was going to be joining forces with the snarky space misfits of Guardians, fans knew that they would be in for a treat. The first ever trailer for the game shows our heroes as they pick up a distress signal, suit up, and ready themselves to take on the mad titan, Thanos. Check out the trailer below!

Unfortunately, the trailer does little to tell us what game-play mechanics will look like, but we won’t have to wait much longer until all that is revealed. Episode One, entitled Tangled Up in Blue, will release on April 18th for digital download ($4.99) with a hard ‘season pass’ copy available for purchase at retailers on May 2nd ($29.99). The game is multi-platform and can be purchased for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, Mac, the iOS App Store, and Google Play.

The trailer does however show off the modern comic book character art stylings of the animation as well as a little bit of the trademark snark that we’ve come to love from the group. Drax is too literal, Groot is Groot, and no matter what elevator you take in the galaxy it’s going to be the slowest one you’ve ever ridden.

Given that the first episode is named after a classic song, anyone want to hedge bets as to what the following four episodes will be called? We’re crossing fingers for episode two to be called ‘Purple Rain’ and banking on a color theme from there on out. Or do you think they’ll end up all being named after Bob Dylan songs? Maybe we’re totally off base and the next Guardians of the Galaxy Telltale Games episode will be named after something completely unrelated to music. Drop us a comment with your best guess below!
