Uncharted The Lost Legacy Launching Later This Summer

Uncharted The Lost Legacy, will release later this summer on August 22nd, Naughty Dog confirmed today in a tweet. The game is a stand-alone piece of Uncharted that follows the events of A Thief’s End.

The game will take place roughly six to twelve months following the events of Uncharted 4 and follows Chloe and Nadine (yes, they are working together but don’t see eye to eye) as they search for an ancient relic over the southern tip of India.  The game will include the beautiful views and vistas we are used to seeing in an Uncharted game, only on a more surprising scale.

“Beautiful, big landscapes to traverse and explore, that sense of a surprise around every corner, we wanted to bring more of that back.” – Shaun Escayg (Naughty Dog Creative Director)

For fans of Nathan Drake, writer Josh Scherr says for fans not to hold their breath:

“You can sort of imagine Drake sitting on the couch playing Crash Bandicoot while Chloe and Nadine are off galavanting.” – Josh Scherr (Writer – Naughty Dog)
