Xbox One X Announced At E3 2017

It has been many months in the making, but we finally have details on Microsoft’s latest console, the Xbox One X. The Scorpio name has been given to the console engine rather than the console itself.

The Console will feature 6 Teraflops GPU clocked at 1/172 Ghz.  It will host 12 GB of GDDR5 memory with 326GB/s of memory bandwith.  It will have a native 4k Blu-Ray player, and is suggested that 900p and 1080p Xbox One games should be able to run at native 4K on the Xbox One X.  It will also contain a 1TB Harddrive!   They have also announced that it will be Day One Backwards Compatible with all Xbox One games and accessories.

It appears the back of the console will resemble the Xbox One S, with an HDMI Port, and no dedicated Kniect Port.  They have also confirmed that the console will launch for $499.

The System will be launching worldwide November 7th 2017.
