After months of anticipation, Square Enix has finally revealed that Dragon Quest XI will be localized for English audiences (in addition to other unannounced languages). The game will be titled Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age and is due to release in 2018. You can take a look at the announcement in the video below.
Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time (the name of the Japanese version) is already out for PS4 and 3DS systems. While it is yet to receive a release date, the game is also slated for the Nintendo Switch. While the English version of the game has no announced platforms it will likely release on the same consoles as the Japanese version.
More information on localized version will be announced during fall of 2017.
