The Original Battlefront 2 Is Back Online

If you were a gamer in the mid-2000’s and a Star Wars fan, you would know about the original Battlefront 2.

Along with the game came a massive online multiplayer. However, the online multiplayer was officially shut down in 2013 when the host of the servers, GameSpy closed down. Anyone who wanted to play Battlefront 2 online, were forced to third-party websites for servers or create their own.
But for any Battlefront fans, Christmas has come early. The platform GOG together with Disney have brought the multiplayer game back online! Owners of the original Battlefront 2 can now play all modes online without having to do any work outside of the game.

What’s even better is the GOG team are offering Steam owners to play as well with those on the GOG platform. GOG is also hosting a Disney sale, including the original Battlefront 2 and other Star Wars titles.

The GOG version of the game runs on modern systems, and it’s worth picking up.
