Nintendo took the top spot for September hardware sales, with strong showings from both Switch and the 3DS line.
Nintendo is touting NPD data that says that the system has sold more than two million units in the U.S. in advance of the system’s first holiday season. September was also the third straight month that the system was the best-selling home console.
As for software, Nintendo Switch games again occupied multiple spots in the list of best-selling individual games of the month, including Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle at No. 7, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at No. 10 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at No. 11.
