Activision has announced that weekend sales for Call of Duty WW2 surpassed $500 million worldwide. The figure is double that of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s launch weekend last year.
Along with massive figure, the first-person shooter also set a PlayStation 4 record by becoming the “best-selling digital full game,” by units sold on day-one. It also saw the highest, total connected users on current-gen and PC for a Call of Duty game.
While those figures were still impressive, overall sales were down 50% compared to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 which sold close to $550 million on its opening weekend. Call of Duty WW2 is available now on Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4. For more on Call of Duty WW2, keep it locked to Mammoth Gamers and stay tuned to read our full review coming later this week.
