If you are a Nintendo fan you will need to wait until April 20th to get your hands on Nintendo’s new DIY kit for the Nintendo Switch. However, if you head on over to Amazon you will be able to order the first two kits with Nintendo Labo Pre-orders
The Nintendo Labo is described as modular sheets of cardboard which are designed to be able to interact with the Nintendo Switch console and Joy-Con controllers. The sets can be crafted and altered to be used in many different ways. These unique creations, being called Toy-cons can be anything from a piano, to a motorbike, a robot and more. An announcement by Nintendo says that “As you build, you will have fun discovering how the technology works, and might even invent new ways to play with each Toy-Con!”
The first two kits that are available for pre-order are the Project Giant Robot kit and the Variety Kit which has a set of minigames and Labo constructs.The Variety Kit, which can be put to use in five different ways is going start at$69.99. The Variety Kit includes a 13-key piano, a fishing rod simulator, a Toy-Con powered RC car, a Toy-Con house, and a Toy-Con motorbike.
The Robot Kit uses the Joy-Cons to control the arms and legs of the Robot that straps to a backpack that the user wears, it starts at at $79.99. The Nintendo Labo pre-orders are now available on Amazon here.
