PlayStation Blog has just listed its free games lineup for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of February. This month brings us two featured games with Knack and RiME.
RiME is a third-person adventure-puzzle game in which you take on the role of a young boy who wakes up on a mysterious island with a large white tower. The boy can manipulate objects around the island to progress in the game, ultimately trying to reach the tower’s peak. RiME’s gameplay mechanics are most often compared to that of Ico, which also has a similar premise in a young boy trying to navigate his mysterious surroundings.
Knack was one of the PlayStation 4’s original launch titles back in 2013. Although it was met with mixed reception, the game did warrant a sequel last year with Knack II. The first game follows the titular hero in a platform-beat-em-up hybrid. Knack has the unique ability to attract smaller scale relics to increase his size and power. For each form that Knack takes, he also gains unique abilities for that form. Knack can be best described as a family version of God of War, where punching, kicking, and jumping in a world with a fixed camera follows the protagonist around.
The rest of the February 2018 PlayStation Plus free games lineup includes:
- Spelunker HD for PS3
- Mugen Souls Z for PS3
- Exiles End for PS Vita
- Grand Kingdom for PS Vita and PS4
With February being a shorter month than usual, the next free PlayStation Plus games will be available sooner than you realize. Grab your February free games while you can.
