New Ubisoft Update Brings Aliens To Rainbow Six Siege

If you’ve ever played a Tom Clancy game, you’ll know that realism is a big aspect of its luster. Things are about to change, however, with new DLC for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, which will include aliens.

New Rainbow Six Update

Ubisoft is shaking things up with its third year of content, by featuring a special Outbreak event. The word “outbreak” may make you think of zombies since it is a commonly used word for the flesh-eaters, but after viewing the trailer, we can see that Team Rainbow will be facing an extraterrestrial threat.

Ubisoft says, “An infestation of unknown origins is attacking a small town of Truth or Consequences New Mexico… The Danger is so high that the authorities quarantined the entire town, trapping civilians and soldiers inside. Pushed to its limits, team Rainbow calls in some of the very best biohazard specialists currently in operation within the World’s elite national CTUs.”

The alien Outbreak event will run for a total of four weeks. Players will be able to form teams of three to take on an unknown threat in a small residential town.

Alongside the new event, Ubisoft will be releasing Operation Chimera. This New DLC will feature two new operators who focus on biological and chemical attacks. Ubisoft says they will unveil more details about the two new operators and the even on Feb 17. You can catch the even on twitch.

Players will be able to play Operation Chimera for the first time on On Feb. 19 during the technical test servers. Outbreak will be available the following day. It will be released to all platforms on March 6.
