Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Set Release Date!

Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Set Release Date!

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is set for release on September 14th, 2018! Not only will it be launched on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but there is only one release date; meaning no Xbox exclusive this time around! Rise of the Tomb Raider was an Xbox exclusive for its first year, so fans are excited to experience this saga’s end on their choice of hardware. Square Enix seems to have done right by its fans for choosing not to have another Xbox exclusive, making sure everyone experiences the story and gameplay all at the same time.

Another important date is April 27th, only about a month away, as a full reveal is expected to appear, as stated by the website. Along with this upcoming event, we also know that a puzzle can be found on the Tomb Raider website, set to be released this upcoming Monday at 9:00AM PDT. At the top of the site page, we are also greeted by a count down to the reveal event on April 27th, which looks to be taking place later that day. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is also available for pre-order on the Square Enix store; for a normal sixty-dollar price tag, yet the pre-order incentives won’t be released until the reveal event.

The hype of Shadow of the Tomb Raider is building fast. From fans speculating, the developer building up to a reveal event, and a pre-reveal event puzzle on monday; which could mean a lot more info of gameplay or even story in Shadow of the Tomb Raider; everything is looking amazing and exciting. There is word however, that this might even be the last Tomb Raider game for some time. Eidos Montreal, a development studio of Square Enix who are working on Tomb Raider, will be shifting gears and working on their first Marvel Comics Universe game. We’ve had a few mobile games and partnerships to date, but getting a true The Avengers game will be amazing! Let’s hope the hype doesn’t fail us for Lara’s “defining moments of becoming the Tomb Raider” as stated on the Facebook page.
