Boss Key’s Radical Heights Takes A Lesson from PUBG & Fortnite

Boss Key Productions previous game, Lawbreakers, failed to meet the studio’s expectations after a troubling launch. Since then, Boss Key announced that it would step back from the game to work on new projects. Just a few days after this announcement, the team has announced a very new game: Radical Heights.

Taking place in the not-so-distant future of 2023, Radical Heights is a free-to-play battle royale shooter, much like PUBG and Fortnite. Radical Heights has a colorful aesthetic, with zany ‘80s style visuals. It also comes with its own unique twist, where you can search for prizes and cash that can be used to buy weapons and cosmetic items. All the earnings players gain from matches can be kept from match to match, allowing you to use them in later matches. Many of the items in Radical Heights are cosmetic like shirts and pants so players can purchase these items to just customize their very own character.

Not only will players be competing with one another, but you can also play through game show mini games like spin a wheel or open prize door to earn yourself some extra cash. Players can also use BMX bikes, trampolines, and ziplines to traverse the map. Radical Heights seems to be filled with plenty of things to keep players occupied while they’re trying to survive this battle royale.

Radical Heights launches on Steam Early Access today. It’s free-to-play, but you can also buy a $14.99 package that includes exclusive items and bonuses.
