It’s that time of the year again: the time for the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo, E3 2018, is approaching fast. With it, the latest and greatest updates for the video game industry will be presented at the various press conferences hosted in Los Angeles. The official press conference schedule for E3 has been released, allowing for more hype to build regarding what will be revealed during each company’s event.
To start things off, EA will be the first to present their news and future company plans. Unlike the other companies, however, EA’s show will be a part of their “special pre-E3 event,” EA Play. Those who attend EA Play will be able to try out the new Battlefield V game in the works, as well as get a first look at Anthem. EA’s event will begin Saturday, June 9th, at [11:00] AM PDT.
After EA is the Xbox conference, beginning 1:00 PM PDT on June 10th. The current predictions regarding what Xbox will reveal involve a “more accessible” Xbox controller. Xbox’s show will be followed by Bethesda at 5:30 PM PDT on the same day. After the recent reveal of Rage 2 by Bethesda, fans are eager to see what more the company has in store for them this E3.
The next day, June 11th, starting at 10:00 AM PDT, Square Enix will take the stage. While speculation has been brewing these past few months, it seems safe to say that fans will get a sneak peak of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3, as well as the Final Fantasy VII remake in the works. Soon after, at 1:00 PM PDT, Ubisoft will host their conference. There are many potential games to look forward to from Ubisoft, although the confirmed Division sequel is likely to make an appearance.
The PC Gaming Show will begin shortly after, at 3:00 PM PDT, which will give us exclusives in upcoming PC games, including new trailers and footage. This will be followed by PlayStation’s conference at 6:00 PM PDT, which will likely feature details regarding The Last of Us Part II, the newest Marvel’s Spider-Man game, and more details on Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding.
Finally, Nintendo will be closing the E3 2018 press conferences on June 12th at 9:00 AM PDT. However, like with previous years, instead of hosting a traditional E3 conference, Nintendo will be livestreaming its presentation in “Nintendo’s Spotlight.” The event will probably discuss in more detail the games hinted at in their recent Nintendo Direct, and there will even be a station at E3 allowing for attendees to get a first-look at the upcoming Smash!
It’s sure to be an interesting E3 2018, so be sure to keep up with Mammoth Gamers news on updates regarding the conferences, leaks, and other exciting tidbits!
