If you’ve been wondering when Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released, you won’t have to wait much longer. A video discovered by a member on NeoGAF revealed that the game will be released on September 1, 2015. The game of course will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. What’s more, is that Snake will be more of a silent hero in this version of Metal Gear according to the series creator, Hideo Kojima:
“As much as possible, Snake will act based on the player rather than doing things like making spontaneous comments or flirting with women. In fact, this time, Snake won’t really speak much at all. MGS5 is an open world game focused on giving freedom to the player who will drive Snake’s action. Snake himself will be more of a silent protagonist similar to Mad Max in Mad Max 2. It’s the characters around him who will expand the story.”
The official announcement on the release date is expected to be announced tomorrow. Let us know what you think of this new interaction with Snake and the release date news in the comments below. And stay tuned to Mammoth Gamers for more on this developing story.
