Today, Ubisoft revealed more details about their upcoming expansions for The Division along with how long Xbox One users will have this content exclusively.
Writing on the Ubisoft Blog, this announcement revealed that Xbox One users would receive the paid expansion content for 30-days exclusively, over other systems.
The first 2 of three total expansions will be called Underground and Survival. As the name suggests, Underground will focus on playing through New York’s subway systems to take out groups of enemies. And while there weren’t many details given about the second expansion, Survival, they do mention “…incredibly hostile environments.”
These expansions will be available to players as standalone purchases, through the Season Pass, or included in the Gold and Collector’s Editions.
Today’s announcement comes on the heels of information last week, where Ubisoft discussed its plans for a full year of additional paid and free content. The names of the expansions were announced there as well, with the 3rd being called Last Stand and set to arrive this winter.
The Division will be released on March 8th for Windows PC, Xbox One, and PS4 and is available to pre-load with a purchase of the digital copy of the game from all 3 platforms.
