Arrow Theory: Who is Six Feet Under?

Arrow Theory: Who is Six Feet Under?
Spread the love

Well this season has been a bunch of sunshine, kittens, and rainbows hasn’t it? We got to see the end of Olicity and thankfully it wasn’t because Felicity was the one in the box. So which leads to the big season mystery if it’s not Felicity in the grave then who is it?

Let’s look over the clues we have so far:

  1. It is someone really close to the team and Barry
  2. It is not Felicity
  3. We know it is Darhk that kills this person

So who does that leave us with? Let’s take a look:

Detective Lance:

So far this man has destroyed his career in order to get Darhk put behind bars. Knowing what we know, that Darhk loves to play the classical long winded insane villain, this definitely put Lance in Darhk’s crazy cross hairs. It is reasonable to assume that Detective Lance is the one who bites the big one. HOWEVER there are some good reasons why it is not him:

  • He’s not close with Barry. During all the cross overs Barry rarely says two words to Lance so why would Barry race all the way from Central City to attend the funeral of someone he does not know?
  • Shows love to pull a red herring dating back far back as to famous episode in show Dallas ‘Who shot JR?’ So the most obvious choice isn’t never the correct one.

Thea Queen aka Speedy:

Going with no on this theory, this poor girl has died been brought back then almost died one too many times and again, she and Barry are not close. I highly doubt the writers will kill her off again.

Laurel Lance aka Black Canary:

Given the end of Olicity and all the touching heart to heart scenes she gets with Oliver it’s pretty clear the writers are sticking with DC canon where Green Arrow and Canary get together then eventually get married so this earns her a hall pass from death.

Donna Smoak:

This is a long shot in the dark. She doesn’t fit with clue one, so I would be very shocked if she dies.

Curtis Holt aka Mr Terrific:

Yes for those of you that don’t know the DC comic book universe that is his superhero name that they love to keep dropping throughout the season. When he was introduced this season I had a sneaking feeling that he would be filling the rather high heels of Felicity as Team Arrow’s hacker and tech person. The episode Beacon Of Hope proved that theory to be correct and given the clues we know he doesn’t know Barry…and if Felicity is done with Team Arrow it would not make sense to kill her replacement.

There you go I have ruled out all of the people that are definitely not in that grave so that just leaves one person:

John Diggle aka Spartan:

Darhk said it best ‘you don’t kill your enemy but take out the person they love’ and who doesn’t love John? Also this character has the most to lose he’s a husband and a father to one, possibly two (as shown in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), children. He is Oliver’s brother in arms and has been since the beginning, he is friends with Barry and worked with him to take down King Shark. Plus given the reveal that John’s brother Andy is Darhk’s Ace in the Hole it’s safe to assume that it this will be the end of Spartan. Why him you ask? Simple if you want to shock and surprise your viewers the most you go after the person most unassuming and they will be totally blindsided. Before anyone says ‘it’s because he’s black’  please re read the facts I stated above. The loss of John would completely devastate Team Arrow he is the team’s lynchpin, their rock. He was the one that took lead when Oliver decided to give up wearing a mask and go off to play house with Felicity so it all makes perfect sense for Darhk to take out John and perhaps force Andy to prove his loyalty to HIVE once and for all.
