Picking up where the last episode left off it’s time for some girl on girl action. Kara still doesn’t want to fight Alex who is packing kryptonite. Kara attempts to get Alex to snap out of it but it takes Hank bringing in Mama Danvers to snap Alex out of it. One problem down now how to get an entire city out Myriad’s control. SuperGirl goes on television and uses the one weapon that Myriad can’t fight: Love. Everyone is free the city is saved. Superman however is out cold in the DEO’s medical bay as shown by his red boots cameo. Everyone breathes a sigh of relief as things go back to normal and Jimmy wants to talk to Kara about the kiss.
Meanwhile Non encouraged by Indigo decided if he can’t rule the humans he will blow their minds literally by sending out Myriad’s signal at an increasing frequency. All the humans on Earth have four hours before everyone except Kara dies. They locate where the signal is coming from a Omegahedron (nice throwback to the old SuperGirl movie). Non has been hiding in Nevada, not area 51 though the crash site of Fort Roz which had been cloaked and the area declared a nuclear testing site. Maxwell Lord knows Kara is going into a fight she may not win, she has no back up from either Superman or the DEO.
Kara goes back to Catco to say her goodbyes which includes friendzoning poor Winn this guy just can’t win. She thanks Cat Grant for all she has done and breaks up with Jimmy in what has to be the shortest adult relationship ever.
Hank decides to go help Kara take on Non and Indigo and isn’t taking no for an answer. Mama Danvers get the news that her husband isn’t dead just in the hands of some evil government agency called CADMUS (the same agency that creates the suicide squad). Alex promises that they will find Jeremiah and bring him home right after Kara saves the world.
Now it’s time for the epic showdown. Non reveals that Myriad isn’t in the Omegahedron it’s Fort Roz itself so no blowing up something that big before everyone dies which they now have six minutes left. Hank rips Indigo in half with a move that John Cena would be proud of. Supergirl burns Non’s eyes out in an epic staredown match. Indigo reveals that they cannot fly Fort Roz on it’s own the whole system is locked down leaving only one option left.
Kara makes one last call to Alex saying goodbye before she lifts the mega ton prison into space and away from Earth. As SuperGirl floats in space a familiar spaceship appears piloted by Alex.
Supergirl has saved the entire world, Hank and Alex are given presidential pardons and Hank is given command of the DEO once more.
Back at CatCo Cat grabs all of Kara’s things and takes Kara…to Kara’s new office. That’s right Kara has been given a promotion no pay raise but she will no longer be Cat’s PA. She and Cat share a touching moment like the end of Working Girl. Later that night the Danver family and friends and boyfriend, yup Jimmy and Kara are back together. As they share a toast something crashes outside the city. Hank and Kara go to check it out and find it’s a Kryptonian spaceship like the one Kara arrived in. Supergirl lifts off the hatch and what does she see that shocks her so much? Find out next season!
