Andrew House, the president and global chief executive of Sony Interactive Entertainment confirmed that the PlayStation Neo is a thing, but it won’t be at E3 2016. In an interview with the Financial Times, House confirmed that the high end PlayStation console will be more expensive than the current PlayStation 4 console which currently retails at $350.
“It is intended to sit alongside and complement the standard PS4,” he said. “We will be selling both through the life cycle.” – Andrew House
When asked how much the Neo will cost and when consumers should expect to see it at retail, House declined stating, “We want to ensure we have a full range of the best experiences on the new system that we can showcase in their entirety.”
