We are nearly halfway through the mid-year bank account breakdown, as Steam Summer Sale day 5 falls upon us. Each day of the sale, we will continue to post recommendations from the featured sales on the front page of Steam. Today’s features include a teenage time travel, vehicular sports, orc genocide, and Lovecraftian eyeball monsters. All items will remain at their sale prices for the duration of the event, ending July 4th. Featured recommendations are as follows:

Eye-of-Cthulhu

Terraria – $4.99 (orig. $9.99)

Life is Strange – $9.99 (orig. $19.99)

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor – $12.49 (orig. $49.99)

Rocket League – $11.99 (orig. $19.99)

The Witness – $31.99 (orig. $39.99)

South Park: The Stick of Truth – $7.49 (orig. $29.99)

Helldivers – $11.99 (orig. $19.99)

Starpoint Gemini 2 – $8.74 (orig. $34.99)

dead-rising-3-servbot

The only franchise pack featured on the front page today is the Dead Rising franchise with titles available at 70% off. If mowing down zombies dressed as a servbot, in a swimsuit, wielding a chainsaw polearm isn’t your thing, you should probably rethink your life. But once the self reflection is all taken care of, give titles like Shadow of Mordor and Life is Strange a look. One features a stubbly man with flowing hair and an unhealthy obsession with freeing orc heads from their bodily prisons, the other a teenager who discovers she has the ability to rewind time, an invaluable power for a high school student to have. Both are excellent games more than worthy of your time. Be sure to check back with us tomorrow for another list of recommendations, and leave your own suggestions in the comments below!
