I was a fan of the way the original Titanfall when it came to how it handled multiplayer. The power and control you felt while controlling a giant mech to the strategy and vulnerability felt by playing as a soldier. The complaints I had about the game were echoed by countless people around the globe though. Most of those complaints corresponded with the fact that the campaign was practically non-existent. Well today EA dropped a trailer for Titanfall 2 and it’s clear that they want people to know that they were listening to those complaints. The trailer is dedicated solely to the single-player experience. You can view it below.
It definitely feels like this games is going to have a more significant single-player mode. If Titanfall 2 can maintain the solid gameplay from the original game and add a meaningful campaign, then this could be a huge game to look forward to. E3 will be a golden opportunity to learn more about this game prior to its release on October 28th, 2016.
