This title raises more questions than ever before. Who is this speaking of? Rey? Luke? Ben aka: Kylo Rend? Some other unknown character? Also, what is up with the symbolism of the red logo? All of the other Star Wars logos have been colored in traditional yellow however this logo is being shown in red which usually points to the dark side in Star Wars.
Some other interesting things to note, that the plural of Jedi, is in fact Jedi. Therefore this could be speaking of the Jedi Order as a whole, and not just one person. It also does not follow the word count that the past movies have used.
- The Phantom Menace
- Attack of the Clones
- Revenge of the Sith
- A New Hope
- The Empire Strikes Back
- Return of the Jedi
- The Force Awakens
- The Last Jedi
The past trilogies have gone with a three word title, followed by two four word titles. But in this case, they are going with another three word title.
Episode VIII is directed by Looper director Rian Johnson, and is slated for release on December 15th 2017.
It will be interesting to see what comes out of the title, the logo and more. If you are as hyped up as we are, I’m sure you want a trailer which we will hopefully have in a few months. Stay tuned to Mammoth Gamers for more on this breaking story!
