September is now officially upon us and with it another tide of video game releases. It’s hard to keep up with releases now-a-days especially with a busy August, and games being delayed or just announced this Summer. So here is a list of the biggest releases that will bring us into the Autumn.

10)  Dishonored: Death of the Outsider

The new stand alone expansion for Dishonored puts you in the shoes of Billie Lurk, along with previous DLC protagonist Draud, as you aim to kill longtime Dishonored character The Outsider. On your quest to assassinate the god-like being there are new abilities, settings, and enemies.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider comes to PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 15th.

9) Knack 2

Published by Sony, Knack 2 is an upcoming 3D platforming, beat em up as a sequel to the PS4 launch title. After Knack one was released as a launch title for the PS4 it was met with mixed reviews, there fore it’s earned a place on this list for the anticipation that is building for it’s sequel. The developers are very confident about the game and first impressions are genuinely positive.

Knack 2 releases September 5th exclusive to the PS4.

8) Cuphead

It’s been a long time coming but the much anticipated Cuphead now has a release date and it looks so good. This unique 2D side-scroller platformer in the style of late 1930’s cartoons is predicted to be the most fun title on Xbox this year.

Cuphead arrives on September 29th for Xbox One and PC.

7) FIFA 18

The world’s biggest, annual football game is back. With the new frostbite engine this year’s game is going to feel a lot different from the previous installments. Improvement in graphics with a brand new immersive story and career mode. This year’s installment will also be on the new Nintendo Switch.

Fifa 18 releases September 29th for  PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

6) Pokemon Silver/Gold

Gotta Catch Em All! If you never caught Pokémon Silver and Gold way back in 2000 then you will be glad to hear that Nintendo re-releasing both games this month. The re-releases will be available on the Nintendo e-Shop and will be packed with the classic 8-bit graphics and soundtrack.

Pokemon Gold and Silver will be re-released on September 22nd on the 3DS.

5) Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite

Marvel VS Capcom returns this year on PlayStation 4 comet Xbox One and PC.  the game is set to feature characters like Iron Man Spider-Man Megaman Rocket from Guardians of the Galaxy and Chun-Li, Strider Hiryu and Chris Redfield from the Capcom side. Auto following the releases of Tekken 7 and Injustice 2,  many believe that  Marvel vs Capcom is set to steal the show.

Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite releases September 19th on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

4) Metroid: Samus Returns

The first Metroid game in what feels like years is coming to the 3DS this September. Samus will return to her roots in 2D but let’s hope Samus hasn’t lost her touch.

Metroid: Samus Returns comes out on the 3DS on September 15th.

3) Project Cars 2

This month also sees Project Cars 2 make its way to all platforms. Described as a very realistic car and racing simulator with stunning graphics and realistic weather effect, the most intriguing part of this installment, however, is the VR compatibility. As if you couldn’t get closer to the real thing.

Project Cars 2 hits our streets on September 22nd on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

2) Total War: Warhammer 2

If you enjoyed Total War: Warhammer then there is no doubt you are excited about its sequel. The merging of both popular titles turned out to be a fun and competitive top down strategy, war experience. Let’s hope the same can be said for the new installment.  

Total War: Warhammer 2 releases on September 29th, only on the PC.

1) Destiny 2

Whether you were a fan of the first installment or now, you cannot deny that Destiny 2 looks like one of the most exciting games of the year. It’s said to have a more compelling campaign, better quests, and raids, with an overall improvement to Bungie’s series.

Destiny releases September 6th for Ps4 and Xbox One.
