Bandai Namco has unveiled the next fighter to join Soul Calibur VI. This time around we are introduced to another returning combatant, The Last Priestess of the Winds, Talim.
This fast-moving fighter fights with her elbow blades and has the ability to control the wind.
In her gameplay trailer, Talim shows some of her traditional moves, being able to hop around and over the opponent, including some new ones that incorporate large gusts of wind. Being a close-range character her wind dancing attacks give her the upper hand in battle. Talim has a good combo game, with her mix-ups and fast attacks.
Talim made her debut in Soul Calibur 2 and would go on to return as a playable character in Soul Calibur 3, Soul Calibur 4, and Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny. She skipped Soul Calibur 5, much to fans’ disappointment (myself included).
Talim is the 14th fighter confirmed for the roster. Two of those are new to the series, Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher series and Grøh.
Soul Calibur VI is due to release on October 19th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
