UPDATE: Gamasutra has updated their story and is now reporting that there is word that the studio has only a small crew of about 25 people of what was estimated to be about 250 people staffed. These 25 people are apparently tasked with working on a single project and the rest were let go from the company earlier this week without any severance packages according to an article from The Verge. At this point, it sounds like all projects Telltale was currently working on or had in flight are in jeopardy of being cancelled.
ORIGINAL STORY: Telltale Games, the developer behind games such as The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Guardians Of The Galaxy, and more is reportedly shutting down. According to a report from Gamasutra, the layoffs occurred this afternoon as multiple developers posted social media posts regarding the situation.
