The wait is finally over, after teasing more information for the mysterious “P5S” earlier this month, ATLUS have finally revealed the game to be Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. While it’s not the Nintendo Switch port of Persona 5 that many fans were hoping for, the game does look interesting.
Persona 5 Scramble’s teaser trailer that was showcased early this morning shows the main game’s protagonist, Joker, standing atop a streetlight as hordes of enemies invade below. The game is produced by studio Omega Force, popular for the Dynasty Warrior series, as well as the recent Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors. Persona 5 is the latest game to get the Musou-style treatment, as gameplay looks very similar to the aforementioned games.

The news of another new title comes hot on the heels of yesterday’s Persona 5: The Royal reveal that we recapped, which includes a new playable character and a new school semester to play through, amongst other changes. Not much else was revealed in today’s trailer for Persona 5 Scramble, besides Joker’s Persona, Arsene, making an appearance. There was also no mention of a release date, but additional information is likely coming soon as Persona 5: The Royal will have more details revealed on May 8th.
