Netflix attending E3 seems to be a reality this year! Netflix reached out to E3 on Twitter, requesting to host a Netflix panel, which they titled, “Bringing Your Favorite Shows to Life: Developing Netflix Originals into Video Games.” They then plugged their upcoming Stranger Things game, and made sure we knew that there was even more to come.

With Stranger Things 3 confirmed for release on July 4th, it’s no surprise that Netflix and their original series are entering the video game market. As the title of their panel suggests, they will be bringing more of their originals to a video game format, which leaves the question: which one? With over 200 original programs listed on Wikipedia, Netflix will have lots of content to choose from.

From Black Mirror to BoJack Horseman, the possibilities of what will be announced during the panel are pretty up in the air. As the title of the panel suggests, this could mean Netflix plans on bringing a number of their popular shows to a variety of consoles. With Black Mirror: Bandersnatch being a hit with users, one can only assume more of its “choose your own adventure” style will be coming; as long as the current lawsuit goes in Netflix’s favor.

This, of course, has Switch fans more than excited for the Netflix panel and speculating if this means the Nintendo Switch will finally get app support for Netflix, and maybe even Twitch! With the support of Hulu in North America, many fans have been begging Nintendo for Twitch and Netflix support, which Best Buy may have leaked a while back. We’ve gotten Youtube in late 2018, fans can only hope this means Netflix is next on the list.

The date and time for Netflix’s E3 panel haven’t been announced, but make sure to keep it locked here at Mammoth Gamers, for all your E3 and video game news!
