Tekken 7 Meets Final Fantasy Next Spring

Bandai Namco’s Tekken 7 was undoubtedly one of the biggest fighting games this year and is still rolling. The developer has continued to add more guest fighters to its already expansive roster including Akuma of Street Fighter fame and Geese Howard from SNK’s Fatal Fury series.

Now Final Fantasy XV’s Noctis joins the fight and fans of both games are excited. Bandai Namco released a new trailer showing Noctis Lucis Caelum in action.

From this trailer (seen above), we can get a few ideas of what it will be like to play as the Final Fantasy protagonist. Noctis seems to have an interesting fighting style and gameplay with a number of slamming moves, strikes, and fiery attacks. Noctis will also use his sword in a multiple of different attacks some of which will no doubt be familiar to those who played Final Fantasy XV.

Noctis’ arrival looks like it will also come with new stages, including the garage from Final Fantasy XV, with many familiar characters appearing in the background cheering Noctis on.

The last thing to note is that the popular Final Fantasy score may also be featured when playing on these stages.

Bandai Namco has not confirmed any specifics about the next DLC apart from a Spring 2018 release date. For more on Tekken 7, keep it locked on Mammoth Gamers.
