Blanka Gameplay Shown Off In Street Fighter V

Capcom has released an official gameplay trailer for Blanka, the second character of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition’s 3rd Season.

Blanka is shown to retain some of his iconic moves, including all of his Rolling Attacks and Electric Thunder. Blanka is as savage as ever in battle, head butting, and clawing at his enemies. His Coward Crouch ability is now his V-Skill and can be used to avoid attacks including fireballs. His V-Trigger I is called Jungle Dynamo and is a roll attack that does more damage and can be used for follow ups including his Critical Art. His V-Trigger II is Lightning Beast, which unlocks a new move that allows the character to take his enemies to new positions allowing for more extended combos.

Capcom also released a bit of information regarding Blanka’s story mode:

In SFV: AE, Blanka is living peacefully with his mother, and has adapted well to being introduced back into society. One day, a suspicious salesman approaches him and offers a way to make Blanka famous by mass producing a doll made in Blanka’s likeness. Will it work? Find out in his character story mode!

The end of the trailer shows off the numerous costumes Blanka will be able to use including his story, battle, and nostalgic costume. The legendary Street Fighter character will officially roll into Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition on February 20th.
