New Legendary Pokemon Revealed for Ultra Sun and Moon

While we still wait for a Pokemon announcement for the Switch, it seems like the pocket monsters have not stopped for the 3DS just yet. A brand new legendary Pokemon has been announced for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon – Zeraora, the Thunderclap Pokemon.

During the Japanese variety show, Oha Suta, a new trailer for the upcoming movie Pokemon: Everyone’s Story showcasing the new Pokemon Zeraora.

Zeraora is said to be a pure electric-type Pokemon, able to “emit a powerful magnetic field from the pads on its hands and feet.” It can use this magnetic field to levitate and move through the air at high speed. Its max speed is said to be about the same as that of a lightning strike”. Zeraora is also said that “unlike most electric-type Pokemon it doesn’t have an organ within its body that can produce electricity so it is able to gather and store electricity from outside sources”.

As of now, there are currently no details on how or when Zeraora will be made available. Pokemon: Everyone’s Story will hit Japanese theaters July 13th, so it’s safe to say that more details will appear around then.
