Days Gone Release Date Revealed Before E3

Sony’s biker-zombie adventure Days Gone, finally has a release date. You’ll be able to ride around as Deacon St. John soon soon as the Days Gone Release Date has been revealed to be February 22nd, 2019.

Sony and Bend Studio confirmed the game’s release date today during a brief livestream in advance of E3 2018. Bend Studio confirmed the news a few minutes later with a new trailer.

In addition to revealing the release date, the trailer introduces some new threats outside of traditional zombies including mountain lions, ravens, wolves, and a new human faction. The faction who call themselves, “Rest In Peace”, is a cult that worships the zombies also known as Freakers. These humans dress up as Freakers and kill anything that isn’t a Freaker.

Days Gone was originally planned for release sometime this year, but was pushed to 2019 in March. Sony and Bend Studio originally announced Days Gone in at E3 2016. The game has been in development since early 2015.

Bend Studio promises to bring more Days Gone to E3 this year with new gameplay, so keep an eye out for more news and information about this game.
